Lovely Woods Press is a woman-owned design shop run by Candace Jenkins.  Impressions are pulled from hand-carved blocks and screens of bespoke art onto pressed cotton rag deckle-edged papers and textiles stitched on a vintage treadle singer. Raised in a carpenter’s workshop, Candace with her partner, Andrew, work with sustainably harvested lumber making propagation stations and more.

She also enjoys custom design work and creating tattoos for folks who love the natural world. Tattoos are hand poked with fine lines and patterns.

Candace has been pulling inspiration from wildlife, nature and pastoral landscapes into her craft for a lifetime.  When she's not sketching and carving, she's rescuing wild creatures, collecting rare minerals, driving windy roads to secret locations, and quietly spotting elk through her binoculars.
